This Building opened in July 1979; it is managed by the Hullbridge Community Association, a charity formed in 1966 out of the new Hullbridge social society. The centre was funded by the sale of the village hall, grants from Essex county Council and the Hullbridge Parish Council. The land was provided by Rochford District Council. The remainder of funds were made up of individual donations and the “buy a brick campaign” run in the Village in the early seventies. Since opening, this building has been the meeting place for many local organisations.
